Laikipia East Mp Mwangi Kiunjuri has denied links to a girl who was allegedly arrested and charged  for starting a fire at a dormitory in moi girls Nairobi which killed 10 students.

In the past week  there have been videos trending online claiming that the girl who started the fire has been walking Scot free and was emigrated  out of the country  despite being sentenced  to five years in prison.

The Mp took to his twitter now known as X terming the reports  as false adding that it’s his political opponents who are spreading the spiteful narrative.

He continued to distance himself from the allegations further describing as”insensitive and reckless ” of the people sharing information on social.media about the 2017 incident.
