A university student in Nairobi is recovering in hospital after an alleged assault at his home in Umoja 1 Estate on the eve of Valentine’s Day.
According to the account in the post, the incident followed a dispute about his contact with a former partner.

‘ I ignored her and slept because she was not getting convinced by my explanations that I had nothing to do with this woman.l was suddenly woken up by a sudden extreme pain only to realize that she had scalded me with boiling water as l slept.’ Steve from his hospital bed said.

The report also claims that after the incident a CCTV captured the suspect storming out of their house and vanishing ito the dark.

The victim is still nursing at least 21percent burn injuries at a hospital in Nairobi.
